CONE takes its place at the Unique Northumberland Festival held within the grounds of Alnwick Castle. The visitors are treated to a display of creepy crawlies from Michael Mann as well as the opportunity to purchase wildlife-friendly plants. |

For the third year running CONE co-hosts the launch of Going for Green's regional Biodiversity/Local Environment Month. "Planet Plodge" encourages people to 'plodge' for environmental awareness. |

CONE attends Cramlington Fair spreading the green word with a twist - balloons that is, in the shape of animals created by local balloon artist. Wildlife friendly plants are snapped up in record time by green fingered locals. |

The second CONE/Three Horse Shoes Wildlife Beer Festival sees people enjoying fine ale and learning about a wide variety of wildlife at the same time. |

CONE works with nearly 3,000 children from Cramlington Schools. |

CONE teamed up with Arcot Hall Golf Club and Southlands Middle School to help our endangered Red Squirrels. The Club have been working with CONE and Blyth Valley Borough Council to improve the course for the benefit of the Red Squirrel population.
Southlands Middle School constructed special feeders which were installed on the course to provide an extra food source for the squirrels. |
